My name is Russell, I live in Llanbradach in Caerphilly South Wales, I started to learn to play the guitar when I was 21 years old, I taught myself from old L.P's by turning the speed down on an old gramophone record player to 16 speed instead of the normal 33 speed, then I could learn how the guitar was being picked, I would practise for about 14 hours a day....Mad!!

I used to listen to Paul Simon playing his guitar and in the end get to understand what he was doing, now my "ear" is a bit better and I don't need that old gramophone player.
