Yes, I have the clips from rogholfan as she had provided them to me awhile back. They will not appear on the CLASSICGL Channel without her permission. I'll check with her and see why she pulled them and closed her channel.

That said: IVN is on temporary leave from the channel so CLASSICGL will not be updated till he gets back. Not sure when that will be yet. Currently I am only updating the GLMP and my yahoo group.

I agree with the previous comments, please post the videos of Roger and Holly that rogholfan used to have! They were amazing! And there are so many more "memorable" clips involving Zazlow and Garrett that have been forgotten so far, and I refer in particular to 1993, when Roger was hiding at Holly's after being shot. Their Christmas together, she reading a poem to him... Please please it'd be awsome to watch them!

I'm not sure why rogholfan closed down or was closed down, after all Roger & Holly & everyone in the clips (at least the actors and actresses) seen in them are no longer with the show (Maeve Kinkaid as Vanessa & Jordan Clarke as Billy material with Roger & Holly had been avoided by rogholfan -- which I appreciated and kept it where the actors & actresses might demand recompense for copyright infringement and also for the most part, except for a couple of clips the clips were all before Liz Keifer started as Blake).




So, I'm asking please, classicGL to see if you can get a hold of the clips that rogholfan was showing -- so, many of them were classics in the Roger & Holly tortured romance storyline of 1989 & the early 1990's?

I may not be a day-soap or GL follower, but I am a classic
TV-history scholar and a file like this is critical, esp. since
GL has gone from it's traditional proscenium Television City
production format to hand-held MTV-reality style. And I do
fondly recall the billboards from my earliest TV-exposed youth.
Plus we're seeing less & less grownups on these shows
nowadays, and the ones we do see could pass for 19. Good grief....!

I cant say thank you enough. I have been watching Guiding Light since i was a kid. My grandma watched every day back with Roger, Holly and Nola. I still watch now but am very unhappy with were the show is going. I love watching the 80', 90' and 2000 through 2005. I wish they would put all the past years on dvd. But I am greatful you put these on. please keep adding. Love all of them. Makes me miss Philip, he was a big part of the show. I am gonna miss Gus with Harley too. Thank you again. If you have more of the 90's and early 2000's please put them on.
