and agreed in principle the church can argue against abortion, i personally am not for abortion, but i don't agree that the church (or the state) has the right to impose their values on anyone else who doesn't share their viewpoint, and when those groups become violent and deadly, its no longer acceptable.

Dear Jae, I omitted an adverb that could be importan I "actually" don't see an extremism more dangerous than Islamic one. So, I first wanna say again that extremism exist for every religion and I add that they all are of course dangerous. I can talk about the fight in Ireland between Roman Catholic and Protestants. The same antisemitism is based on a Christian preconcept used from nazists and fascists: "Jews killed Jesus".
There are some cases you cited that I don't know about, but Chruch, supporting the anti-abortion position, does just its work (I speak about principle). Doesn't islam tell the same thing? After that I personally think that a woman must be the right as "extrema ratio" to decide to interrupt pregnacy.

I agree with u Alebo,multiculturalisim shouldt be conisdered in many diemnsions,and cultures can benifit from the other to solve many problems...although it looks like somehow hard for some pple,but i think that if we returned things into thier roots and applied the logical thinking in analyzing and finding solutions for many of the matters am sure that there will be positive resuts..and its only taken to solve problems,its sharing of ideas,intilegence,IT,...and many issues and topics,from simple to complex ones...
