i just wanted to take a moment to thank both you AND james burke , from the bottom of my heart. he is an educator/historian/philosopher non-pareil, and you have performed a worthy and laudable service by posting your collection here. it's ideas like his,in vital combination with the fact that those ideas are shared and made available for public study and discourse through people like you, in which,(i believe,) lies our best hope for the bright future of humanity in the information age.

As a parent of an aimless teen, I need this to get him motivated to learn something. Burke is probably the only presenter who could keep my Son's attention for more than 5 minutes. Brilliant! |

Add me to the list of people giving a heartfelt "THANK YOU" for going to all the trouble to post these series.
I have had a copy of the companion book to The Day the Universe Changed for years and enjoyed it immensely... but only last week did it occur to me to look for it on YouTube. (What can I say; I can be sort of slow sometimes!) I watched the entire ten episodes in three sittings, and now I'm voraciously consuming the Connections series.
