Great post on Derrida. I had hoped for quite some time that there would be an almost generational backlash against the corrosive, self-indulgent babbling of postmodernist "intellectuals", but I quickly began to fear that that day would never come to pass. I just hope that within the next few year critics like Bloom and James Wood become more than just idiosyncratic anomalies.
